Sometimes I get too focussed on getting better and trying to push things further, that I forget to be grateful and realise just how far I’ve come. In 2021 (during the lockdowns), I shared my first video as a solo singer-songwriter. Since then, I’ve had:

These aren’t crazy numbers in the grand scheme of things, but for someone like me who does everything on my own and in my spare time, I think it’s pretty significant and I should be a lot more grateful than I am sometimes.
It’s been a great journey so far. Like a video game, each level gets harder. But I will try my best to keep moving forward while having fun and being grateful. I must remember that it’s not all about numbers. It’s about making music, and having a positive impact. Sometimes less is more.
Thanks to all of you who believed in me more than I believed in myself. After everything I’ve been through, I am pleased to say that I no longer think I am shit, and have a newfound confidence in my musical abilities. I will keep doing this music thing for as long as I am able.
